The security forces’ Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan has yielded significant results, as notorious terrorists in the area have surrendered.
Efforts by the security forces and the brother of the Balochistan chief Minister, Mir Aftab Bugti, to restore peace in the province have begun to succeed. A group of terrorists, involved in terrorism, robbery and other criminal activities, has surrendered to the state of Pakistan. Mirak Khan Chakrani, along with 25 accomplices, surrendered and laid down their weapons.
The group that surrendered had previously been involved in robberies and extortion. The surrendering elements also handed over a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. Mirak Khan Chakrani announced his intention to join the Chakrani Peace Force against extremist elements.
With the effective strategy of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1, other extremist and criminal elements in Balochistan are expected to surrender to the state soon.
