The security forces killed 24 militants in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out an operation in the districts of Khyber and Kurram after receiving information about the presence of militants. During the operation, the forces effectively targeted militant hideouts. After heavy exchange of fire, 14 militants were killed.
The ISPR stated that security forces conducted the operation in the districts of Khyber and Kurram on the basis of intelligence about the presence of militants. After a heavy exchange of fire, 14 militants were killed. In a second operation in Khyber district, 10 militants were killed.
Moreover, the ISPR said that during the operation, forces effectively targeted militant hideouts. Clearance and sanitisation operations are ongoing in the area. Operations will continue until terrorism sponsored by India is completely eliminated. Under the resolve for stability, the counter-terrorism campaign continues with full intensity.
