Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation in which they discussed the regional situation.
During the call, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Saudi Arabia rejects all forms of aggression and provocation against Iran. He emphasized that the Kingdom will not allow its land or airspace to be used for any purpose against Iran.
In response, President Peshkeshian said that American threats against Iran would achieve nothing except increased instability in the region. He added that such threats are aimed at undermining regional security.
During the call, President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has always welcomed efforts to prevent war and promote peace within the framework of international law. He stressed that unity among Islamic nations is essential for lasting stability in the region, and that regional instability serves no country’s interests.
Pezeshkian also warned against political and military actions that could threaten regional security and reiterated Iran’s commitment to contributing constructively toward long-term peace in the Middle East.
The Crown Prince highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sustainable peace and stability in the region. He added that Saudi Arabia is ready to cooperate with Iran to strengthen regional security and prioritizes resolving issues through dialogue.
Both leaders agreed that dialogue, cooperation, and joint strategies are essential to maintaining peace and stability across the Middle East.
