A teenage thief stole jewellery worth millions of rupees during a wedding ceremony at a marriage hall on Lahore Sharaqpur Road.
The incident was captured on CCTV. According to police, the theft occurred at the marriage hall. After the wedding procession arrived, a young man dressed in a suit and trousers entered the hall. He moved through the crowd, approached the stage, stole a valuable jewellery set, and fled.
A guest chased the thief, but he escaped by getting into a white car waiting outside. Police said the suspect’s accomplice was waiting in the vehicle. Authorities are analysing CCTV footage to identify the suspect and expect to arrest him soon.
