Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review matters related to trade, with a focus on expanding market access, easing trade procedures and increasing the role of international partners.
The meeting reviewed measures to promote agricultural exports and enhance trade competitiveness.
Participants also considered steps aimed at improving market access and facilitating trade with global partners.
Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan and Bangladesh have expressed their resolve to further strengthen ties across multiple sectors.
According to details released on Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Adviser, Md Touhid Hossain. In the call, the two discussed matters of mutual interest, as well as regional and global developments in detail.
