Mild tremors were once again felt in the Malir area of Karachi, with the earthquake measuring a magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale.
According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, Karachi experienced another minor earthquake tremor. The quake had a depth of 40 kilometres and was recorded at 7:54 AM.
The epicentre was located approximately 11 kilometres northeast of Malir. Since 1st June, a total of 29 tremors have been recorded in the region.
Earlier today, tremors were felt in Karachi, prompting panic among residents who rushed out of their homes and buildings.
According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake had a magnitude of 2.1 and a depth of five kilometres. The epicentre was located in southern Malir, Karachi. Over the past five days, 27 tremors have been recorded in various parts of the city.
Authorities have warned that there is a possibility of further seismic activity over the next three to four days.
However, no casualties or damage have been reported so far.
