Punjab School Education Department has announced year-round transfer facility for married, divorced, and widowed female teachers, providing significant relief to women educators across the province.
According to the official notification, teachers facing personal hardships—especially those who are divorced, widowed, or separated through khula—will be given priority in transfer applications.
Applications with the maximum distance between the current and desired postings will also receive special consideration.
District Education Authority will issue No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for these transfers. Additionally, all hardship-related cases will be reviewed by a dedicated Hardship Cases Committee.
