Lahore Police on Sunday arrested PTI prominent leaders and lawmakers including MNA Latif Khosa Latif Khosa from Sadar roundabout and PTI legal team leader Salman Akram Raja along with PTI workers for obstruction in traffic.
PTI workers protest when reached at GPO Chowk then, Lahore Police personnel launched crackdown at The Mall. Police also arrested PTI Punjab leader Hafiz Farhat Abbas and five people.
In Gujranwala, dozens of workers including PTI leader Mian Tariq Mehmood from Ludhiwala have been detained.
The Gujranwala Police deployed heavy contingent of police that cordoned off the residence of Mian Tariq. Police shifted the arrested leaders to Ludhiwala police station.
Police said PTI workers allegedly had blocked the road without permission.
