The University of Peshawar (UoP) administration has taken notice after a video showing student modelling during a welcome party went viral, and has sought a report within three days.
A welcome party was held on January 15 at the Institute of Health Sciences, University of Peshawar. A video of students taking part in modelling at the event circulated widely on social media. Following the incident, the university administration took notice and formed a six-member committee to conduct an inquiry.
According to an official statement, the committee will carry out a full inquiry into the incident that took place during the welcome party at the Institute of Health Sciences. The committee has been assigned the responsibility of determining all aspects and facts of the matter.
The statement added that the committee will complete its inquiry and submit its report within three days, on the basis of which further action will be decided.
