The wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar entered a grand phase on Saturday as his barat procession travelled to a private housing society in Lahore, attended by prominent political leaders, family members and guests from Pakistan and abroad.
The barat reached a private housing society in Lahore amid tight security and festive arrangements. The procession was joined by Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, senior members of the Sharif family, federal and provincial ministers, along with national and foreign guests.

Mehndi outfits by HSY and Sabyasachi
For the mehndi ceremony held last night at Jati Umra, the couple wore outfits designed by renowned designers. Junaid Safdar donned an ensemble by Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY), while Shanzeh Ali Rohail wore a design by celebrated Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Walima at Jati Umra
The walima ceremony will now take place tomorrow at Jati Umra. Around 800 guests are expected to attend the reception.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal and provincial ministers, senior political figures and foreign dignitaries are likely to be present at the walima.
