Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, several countries including Iran, Bangladesh and Azerbaijan have urged both sides to exercise restraint and resolve differences through diplomacy.
According to details, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei expressed concern over the growing friction. “The increasing tensions between the two countries are a matter of concern. We [Iran] hope that both countries will avoid escalating the situation.”

Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry also appealed for calm, urging India and Pakistan to act with restraint. “Both countries should refrain from taking any steps that could further aggravate the situation. We are concerned about the rising tensions between Pakistan and India.”
The ministry added, “Hopefully, Pakistan and India will reduce tensions through diplomacy.”
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister condemned Indian attacks on Pakistan. “We are deeply grieved by the loss of valuable lives in Pakistan. We extend our solidarity to the people and government of Pakistan.”
“We pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in Pakistan. We hope that tensions between Pakistan and India will not escalate further."
The European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, has expressed concern over escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.
“We appeal to both countries to show restraint,” said Kallas, responding to the ongoing situation in the region.
