The price of gold in Pakistan and globally increased for the third consecutive day on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a significant increase of Rs4,000 on Monday to reach Rs342,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold hiked by Rs3,429, taking it to Rs293,638.

The global gold market also witnessed significant changes, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $40 to reach $3,241.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, remained unchanged, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver stable at Rs3,410, and the price for 10 grams of silver at Rs 2,923.
