The Islamabad district administration has announced the closure of all educational institutions for two days in light of the current security situation in the country.
According to an official notification issued by the Islamabad administration, all schools, colleges, universities, and training institutes within the capital will remain closed. Despite the closure, examinations already underway in these institutions will proceed as usual.

Meanwhile, in Rawalpindi, all examinations scheduled for Thursday, 9 May have been postponed following instructions from the Punjab government. These include intermediate theory papers and matriculation practicals conducted under the Rawalpindi Education Board.
The Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board has confirmed that a revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced soon.
