The local administration announced a public holiday on the day of the by-election in constituency NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan-III.
In a notification issued earlier today, Deputy Commissioner Khurram Pervaiz stated that all public offices, educational institutions, and commercial establishments within the constituency will remain closed on polling day, September 12.
This measure is expected to help alleviate potential congestion at polling stations and encourage maximum voter turnout.
