Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has concluded his visit to Pakistan, after holding key meetings on Sunday.
According to details, Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has praised the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Field Marshal in relation to ending conflict and promoting lasting peace in the region.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, he stated that the purpose of the visit was to review bilateral relations and consult on regional developments.
He said that the visit was conducted in a secure, protected and peaceful environment.
He expressed gratitude to the government of Pakistan, the armed forces and the people, particularly Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for their efforts towards ending conflict and promoting durable peace.
He said the successful completion of the visit was made possible through effective arrangements, planning and implementation.
He thanked the Pakistan Army, security forces, police, administrative institutions, and the people of Islamabad for their patience, hospitality and cooperation.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Pakistan, where discussions were held on ongoing efforts to bring the war to an end.
According to Iranian media, his return to Islamabad formed part of continued consultations, with proposals linked to arrangements for ending the conflict expected to be conveyed during the meetings.
Iran has sought guarantees that no further military aggression will take place in the future. Its conditions also include easing of sanctions and other key demands.
