A day after witnessing a massive decline, the price of gold saw a significant hike in Pakistan and globally, reaching close to a record high.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,500 on Friday to reach Rs386,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold hiked by Rs2,143, taking it to Rs331,361.

The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $27 to reach $3,645.
The silver prices in Pakistan also saw a similar trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs130 to reach Rs4,456, and the price of 10g of 24-karat silver has now reached Rs3,820.
