The Punjab Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution condemning the recent acts of terrorism in the province of Balochistan, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Parliamentary Leader Haider Ali Gilani and MPA Rahila Khadim jointly presented the resolution. It emphasized that no weakness, compromise, or external pressure would be accepted in the national struggle against terrorism.
According to the text of the resolution, the recent terrorist attack is not merely an internal law-and-order issue but a direct assault on Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, national security, and the dignity of the state.
The resolution further alleged that India has long been involved in supporting terrorism, sabotage, and separatist elements aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
Reaffirming solidarity, the Punjab Assembly declared that the people of Punjab stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Balochistan and would continue to support them in this critical time.
