The backlash gained momentum when a viral tweet by an X (Twitter) user mocked her post, saying, “simply put; I don’t want to lose attention from my Indian audience.” The tweet suggested that Ayeza’s message was a calculated move to maintain her international fanbase, particularly in India.

This is not the first time Ayeza Khan has been criticized for her approach to sensitive issues.
