During that time, a "kill notice" was issued for a family photo amid growing conspiracy theories about Kate's absence from public life following her abdominal surgery. This event, Nash suggested, could have influenced the couple's desire to take more control over their media interactions.
"This is really about William and Kate wanting to share things more directly," Nash explained. "They are doing it on their own terms, stepping away from the constraints of precedent and tradition."
