A meeting of the Punjab Council of Complaints was held under the chairpersonship of Dr. Lubna Zaheer.
The session addressed various cases related to violations of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Code of Conduct by different television channels.
The agenda included non-compliance with PEMRA directives and non-payment of dues.
The Council heard arguments from all parties and issued decisions on several cases. Some cases were adjourned upon the request of the concerned parties and will be taken up in the next meeting.
Council members Zahid Masood and Rashida Sohail also attended the meeting, while Qasim Ahmad served as the Secretary of the Council. Other officials from PEMRA were also present.
