Lahore Police said that a drug addict attacked his sister and young nephew in Nawab Town.
The victim was identified as Ali Raza (3) who was killed by a knife and the woman also sustained injuries. Police said after the incident, the accused fled from the spot. The injured woman was shifted to the hospital.
Accused Haider Ali attacked the family after a quarrel with his sister.

Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign Consultant Syed Zulfiqar Hussain told SAMAA Digital that as per the dissemination of Annual Report 2023 named ‘Addiction in Lahore’. He said the report was compiled by the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) in collaboration with YOCFAN.
