Sahibzada Farhan remained unbeaten on his maiden T20I hundred to help Pakistan reach 199 for three against Namibia in a must-win Group A match in Colombo,
With this century, Farhan became the second Pakistani batsman to score a hundred in T20 World Cup history, following Ahmad Shehzad, who scored a century against Bangladesh in 2014. Farhan's effort also marked the third century of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026, joining Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka and Yuvraj Samraj of Canada.
Pakistan's innings saw Saim Ayub score 14 before being caught by Green off Brassell, Salman Agha 38 caught by Erasmus off Brassell, Khawaja Nafay 5 caught and bowled by Erasmus, and Shadab Khan remained unbeaten on 36. Sahibzada Farhan scored 100 not out off 58 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes. Extras contributed six runs.
Namibia’s bowling was led by Jack Brassell who took 2 wickets for 48 runs, and Gerhard Erasmus, who took 1 wicket for 25 runs. Other bowlers included JJ Smit, Ruben Trumpelmann, Willem Myburgh, and Bernard Scholtz.
