Punjab cities including the metropolis of Lahore city witnessed stormy rains as torrential rains lashed parts of the country since evening.
The provincial capital witnessed intense heat throughout the day but rainy clouds lashed parts of Lahore including hailstorm reports from various areas of the city.
The weather office already predicted stormy rains with gusty winds in all provinces. Nowsehra city also witnessed rain turning the weather pleasant.

The weather causes difficulties for commuters while others enjoy the pleasant weather. A passenger who was traveling from Lahore to Karachi via Pakistan Railways from Lahore Railways Station told SAMAA Digital that the weather has turned pleasant and he hopes to have a nice journey to his destination in the port city of Karachi.
The local authorities said WASA personnel are in the field to counter any untoward incident and for smooth siltation of rainwater through drains. Traffic Police are also in the field for smooth traffic as commuters witnessed traffic mess in parts of Lahore.
The weather office advised farmers to remain vigilant amid the stormy rains for wheat harvesting season.
