Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot, where he met with officers and soldiers participating in Operation Binyan-e-Marsous.
During his visit, the prime minister praised their courage and sacrifices in the line of duty.
He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and Corps Commander Sialkot welcomed the Prime Minister at the base.
PM Shehbaz is also scheduled to visit Pakistan Air Force and Navy bases in the coming days. His conversation with the officers and troops will be broadcast on Pakistan Television this evening.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot, where he was briefed on operational preparedness. Alongside him were Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and Information Minister Ataullah Tarar.
Army Chief and Air Chief Marshal also accompanied the Prime Minister during his visit.
PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the bravery of the armed forces, stating that Pakistan takes immense pride in its courageous soldiers.
He expressed that the military personnel are the nation's crown jewels. Reflecting on the recent aggression, the Prime Minister condemned the targeting of innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, calling it an open act of aggression.
PM Shehbaz criticized the labeling of innocent citizens as terrorists, calling it shameful and contrary to international laws, principles, and ethics.
Prime Minister emphasized that despite Pakistan's offer for investigations, India deliberately pursued a path of aggression based on lies and arrogance. He assured that India received a strong response to its aggression, and history will remember how Pakistan thwarted the attack in a matter of hours.
PM Shehbaz Sharif added that martyrs will always remain a source of pride for the nation.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Army Chief and the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
