The Federal Board of Education has officially released the schedule for the Intermediate First Year Annual Examination 2026, along with important deadlines for online admission forms and examination fees.
According to the announcement, the First Year Annual Examination 2026 will commence from April 28. The board has advised students to complete their admission process well within the given timelines to avoid late fees.
The schedule applies to regular, private, and improvement candidates.
Admission form submission deadlines
The federal board stated that the last date to submit the online admission form with a normal fee is February 3. Students who miss the deadline can submit forms with a double fee from February 4 to February 12.
The final deadline with a triple fee is February 24, after which no admission forms will be accepted.
Examination fee structure
The examination fee for First Year candidates has been fixed at Rs2,700. For non-registered candidates, the fee has been set at Rs4,200. For students appearing in First Year and Second Year combined examinations, the total fee will be Rs5,400.
The board has fixed a Rs2,000 fee for any correction in the admission form or roll number slip. Students are advised to carefully review their details before submission to avoid extra charges.
The federal board clarified that no examination fee will be charged from orphans, disabled candidates, and prisoners, providing relief to deserving students.
FBISE officials have urged candidates to regularly check official notifications and ensure timely submission of forms. The board emphasized that adherence to deadlines is essential for smooth conduct of the Intermediate First Year Annual Examination 2026.
