The federal government's ally Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) declared the budget for the upcoming financial year 2025-2024 as a traditional budget.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has presented the federal budget of 18 thousand 877 billion rupees for the next financial year 2025-2024 in the National Assembly.
In response to the budget, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar stated that while they are not against it, it is a typical budget and that to close the budget deficit, they want to tax the common man's money and the wealthy. It's ended because of the tax.
The MQM leader said that people's temperament is going to lose due to inflation, like the public protest in Muzaffarabad, it will happen in every city.
Being a good friend of Shehbaz Sharif, Farooq Sattar stated, "I am giving advice. If the government revises the shadow budget, it will be better. Benazir Income Generation Program should be made instead of Benazir Income Support."
Farooq Sattar also recited a poem related to the budget, "No more taxes, Chief Saab, no more tolerance after today, Chief Saab."
