The gang claimed responsibility for the firing and issued a warning to Gippy Grewal, urging him to sever ties with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
Lawrence Bishnoi, a known Indian gangster, posted a menacing message on Facebook, directing his threats at Gippy Grewal and indirectly at Salman Khan.
He warned Grewal that Salman Khan couldn't offer protection and ominously hinted at more to come, stating, "Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited."
Gippy Grewal denies friendship with Salman Khan
Speaking exclusively to an Indian news agency, Gippy Grewal clarified his relationship with Salman Khan, denying any friendship beyond two professional meetings.
Grewal explained, "I have no friendship with Salman Khan, and the anger of it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking, and I am unable to process what has happened to me."
