A day after stability, the price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a significant rise.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw an increase of Rs4,300 on Thursday to reach Rs358,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold picked up by Rs3,687, taking it to Rs307,270.

The global gold market also witnessed a big change, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $43 to reach $3,400.
The silver prices in Pakistan also hiked, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs159 to reach Rs3,745, and the price for 10 grams of silver increasing to Rs3,210.
