Pakistan has strongly rejected India’s "baseless" assertions concerning the Indus Waters Treaty, saying that no request or letter has been sent to India for the restoration of the agreement.
According to reports, Indian media falsely claimed that Pakistan had sent four letters to India seeking the revival of the Indus Waters Treaty. Responding swiftly to this misinformation, the Pakistan’s Ministry of Water Resources labelled the claim as "fabricated and misleading".
Sources within the ministry clarified that Pakistan has neither written any letter to India regarding the restoration of the treaty nor submitted any such request in this regard. They accused Indian media of consistently running false and negative propaganda campaigns.
Pakistan has given a robust response to India on this issue and significant diplomatic successes were also being achieved on this front.
