Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique discharged on Friday from the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after a brief admission, according to the executive director of the hospital.
Rafique was brought to the hospital after experiencing an increased heart rate. Following prompt medical attention, he underwent an ECG and other diagnostic tests, all of which returned satisfactory results.
After receiving immediate treatment, he was discharged from the hospital. Doctors have advised him to rest and focus on mental relaxation.
Earlier today, it was reported that Rafique shifted to Punjab Institute of Cardiology due to ill health.
Medical tests are currently being conducted to assess his condition.
Saad Rafique discharged from hospital after sudden illness
Saad Rafique has been discharged from the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after receiving treatment for a sudden illness he experienced following Friday prayers.
"Suddenly, I fell ill after the Friday prayers and was taken to the PIC for treatment. Thanks be to Allah Almighty, I was discharged after receiving care," he said.
He expressed his gratitude to all the friends for extending their best wishes for the speedy recovery.
