The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leadership began arriving at the venue in recognition of the success of Operation Bunyan-um- Marsoos against India as the party workers have reflected high spirit.
According to details, the IPP workers were excited to pay a glowing tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their befitting response to Indian aggression during its Marka-e-Haq Convention held in Layyah.
IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan attended the event as the chief guest, with large numbers of people from across Layyah turning out to participate in the convention.
Speaking at the event, IPP South Punjab Chapter President Syed Rafaqat Gillani said, “If India takes any further provocative action, Pakistan will respond even more decisively.”
The venue, decorated with party flags, banners and patriotic songs, reflected the high spirits and unity of the attendees.
Central General Secretary Mian Khalid Mahmood and Punjab Women's Wing President Taskeen Khakwani were also present. Punjab Assembly member and General Secretary for Punjab, Shoaib Siddiqui, was among those engaging with party workers at the venue.
The convention was held to mark the success of Pakistan’s defensive strategy and the military operation Bunyān Mursūs. It served as a public display of solidarity with the nation's defence and sovereignty.
IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan received a warm welcome adorned with flowers and lights upon his arrival. He is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the convention.
