The Pakistan Air Force's (PAF) cyber warfare unit has reportedly launched a sustained cyber offensive targeting the Indian Air Force’s Northern Air Command in Indian-administered Kashmir, security sources confirmed on Saturday morning.
According to reports, the cyber team has been engaged in digital operations for over five hours, specifically targeting network IPs associated with the Indian Air Command’s infrastructure. The Indian networks are experiencing repeated outages and being rendered non-operational for extended periods.
“This is a strategic cyber response aimed at disabling enemy coordination capabilities,” a senior defence official stated on condition of anonymity.
Sources claim that the persistent targeting of digital assets has impacted the command-and-control functions of the Indian Air Force in the northern sector, creating potential delays in operational response and coordination.
