A shocking case of domestic violence has emerged from the Gulmiri area of Mianwali, where an elderly father lost his life after allegedly being tortured by his own sons.
District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Ajmal has taken notice of the incident. According to police, the injured father succumbed to his wounds at the hospital after enduring severe physical abuse.
On April 26, police had rescued the victim from his home, where he was found chained. An FIR has been registered against all three biological sons of the deceased on behalf of the state.
The Saddar Police Station has arrested two of the accused, while one remains on the run. Authorities have launched a search operation to apprehend the absconding suspect.
