The Anti-Human Trafficking Circle has conducted an operation following a complaint from the US consulate in Karachi, resulting in the arrest of a man attempting to obtain a visa using fraudulent documents.
The suspect, identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, was apprehended outside the US Consulate premises. According to officials, he presented counterfeit medical letters and forged Ministry of Foreign Affairs certifications as part of his visa application.
Authorities report that the suspect attempted to mislead US Consulate officials by submitting various fake documents, including falsified medical reports, to support his visa application.
The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of the fraud and potential accomplices involved in the document forgery operation.
