In a letter to the Provincial Election Commissioner Sindh, PTI Karachi President Raja Azhar and General Secretary Arsalan Khalid have requested that the by-elections on November 14 be conducted under the supervision of the Rangers.
The letter cites a lack of confidence in the Karachi Police to ensure a transparent and secure election atmosphere, pointing to past election results as evidence of compromised transparency when the police are solely in charge.
PTI Karachi leadership emphasized the need to create a calm and pleasant environment for voters, stating that the deployment of Rangers is essential to prevent any potential unrest on election day.
