The Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee announced today that the moon for the month of Safar-ul-Muzaffar 1446 Hijri was not observed anywhere across the country.
This decision follows a series of meetings conducted by the Ruet Hilal Committee, which included participation from officials of the Meteorology Department and SPARCO.
In light of the announcement, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a notification confirming that tomorrow, August 6, will mark the thirtieth day of Muharram.
As a result, the 1st of Safarul Muzaffar 1446 Hijri will begin on Wednesday, August 7.
