United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that stock markets were surging, employment was at record levels and prices were falling following the peace agreement with Iran.
Trump made the remarks in a post on Truth Social. He wrote: “Oil is flowing, Iran can never have a nuclear weapon (the world will be safe!), the stock markets are roaring, jobs are at records, and prices are dropping (affordability!). Our country is strong, safe, and respected like never before. You’re welcome!"
Hezbollah welcomes deal
On the other side, Hezbollah congratulated the Iranian leadership and people on the US-Iran agreement.
In a written statement, the group praised Iran's support and described Tehran as a strong, loyal ally. Hezbollah said the outcome of the agreement provided a foundation for the complete liberation of its land.
The group also said it would not accept any aggression that undermines its sovereignty.
Hezbollah called on the Lebanese government and all political forces to adopt a united national position.
