Lahore Qalandars have suffered a major setback as Bangladesh player Parvez Hossain Emon has been ruled out of PSL 11.
The franchise said Emon sustained a shoulder injury, forcing him out of the tournament.
He picked up the injury during a match against Multan Sultans, according to the team management.
An MRI scan confirmed a ligament tear, after which doctors advised rest and rehabilitation.
Lahore Qalandars management have decided to release Emon from the squad.
He will depart for home after today’s match against Peshawar Zalmi.
The franchise said a replacement player will be announced shortly.
