The schedule for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has been announced, with a total of 44 matches set to be played from March 26 to May 3.
For the first time, eight teams will compete in the domestic marquee tournament, with two new franchises joining the tournament.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen and Pindiz are the new teams added to the league.
Matches of PSL 11 will take place across six cities. Faisalabad and Peshawar will host PSL fixtures for the first time.
The opening match of the tournament will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Each team will play ten matches in the league stage, while the play-offs will begin on April 28.
The Pindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, including one qualifier.
A total of 15 matches of PSL 11 are scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Faisalabad will host seven PSL matches for the first time.
Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium, also known as Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, will host PSL fixtures for the first time.
Multan Cricket Stadium will stage four matches, all involving Multan Sultans.
Six matches of PSL 11 are scheduled at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
The tournament will feature 12 double-headers.
The process for media accreditation for PSL 11 has begun, with March 13 set as the deadline.
