Mohammad Haris dazzled with an unbeaten 107 as Pakistan completed a clean sweep over Bangladesh in the three-match T20I series, thrilling a packed crowd at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday.
Pakistan secured a comprehensive 3-0 series victory by defeating Bangladesh in the final T20I. The Green Shirts chased down the target of 197 runs with ease, winning by seven wickets in the 18th over.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Pakistan restricted the visitors to 196 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. Parvez Hossain Emon top-scored for Bangladesh with 66 runs, while Tanzid Hasan contributed 42. Towhid Hridoy and captain Litton Das added 25 and 22 respectively.
Among the bowlers, Hasan Ali and Abbas Afridi took two wickets each for Pakistan, while Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf claimed one apiece.
In response, Pakistan’s innings was anchored by a scintillating knock from Mohammad Haris, who remained not out on 107 – his maiden T20I century. His innings was instrumental in guiding Pakistan to victory.
Saim Ayub chipped in with 45 runs and Hasan Nawaz added 26, playing valuable supporting roles.
This was the Pakistan’s first T20I series whitewash against any opposition since 2021.
