According to the sources, Mr Dar will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant departments.
The delegation will engage with Chinese counterparts to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, with particular focus on the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.
The visit comes at a time of renewed strain in South Asia, prompting Islamabad and Beijing to consult closely on regional security dynamics. Officials privy to the planning said that the situation at the Line of Control (LoC) and cross-border provocations will be key items on the agenda.
