Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed to all types of flights until 12 noon on Sunday, following recent Indian aggression, according to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Airports Authority.
The flight schedule at Islamabad Airport has been disrupted after a recent attack in Rawalpindi. Departures of both national and private airline flights from Islamabad Airport have been delayed. Neither flight departed at the scheduled time after the completion of passenger check-in.
Currently, no flights are operating within Islamabad’s airspace. Arrivals and departures at Lahore and Sialkot airports have also been affected.
Two private airline flights arriving from abroad, destined for Lahore and Sialkot, were diverted to Quetta.
