Renowned Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan and filmmaker Sajid Khan’s mother, Menaka Irani, passed away at the age of 79.

According to the Indian media, Menaka Irani was ill for some time and had been undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Fans of Farah Khan and Sajid Khan are mourning the loss of their mother and are praying for peace and strength for both the filmmaker siblings.

It is to be noted that on July 12th, Farah Khan posted a special message on her official Instagram account to celebrate her mother’s birthday.

She reflected on how much she admires her mother, describing her as the strongest and bravest person she has ever known.

Farah Khan expressed her love for her mother, who maintained a cheerful demeanor despite undergoing a lot of surgeries.

In a touching display of solidarity and respect, several important figures from the entertainment world gathered at Farah Khan’s residence to pay their final respects.

Menaka Irani was the sister of actor Daisy Irani and screenwriter Honey Irani. Filmmakers Zoya and Farhan Akhtar are her niece and nephew. Menaka Irani singlehandedly brought up Sajid and Farah Khan after their father’s death.
