Balochistan province has been recovering heavy spell of rains for the past couple of days and now several feet rainwater has inundated Gwadar streets and schools and all kinds of educational activities have been suspended in the province.
Six people lost their lives when the walls fell and the car was washed away in rainwaters. MS Civil Hospital said vehicles parked in the showroom were also swept away in the water relay.
Fishermen in Pisni also face difficulties due to filling of the dam and the discharge of water from spillway and around 80 boats went to the sea.
Due to heavy rain in different areas of Chagai, low-lying areas are flooded. As per local authorities, rivers overflowed while floodwaters entered Chagai grid station
In Dalbandin Zahoor Colony, the rain water entered the houses and the streets and markets presenting river view.
PDMA said that Gwadar, Pasni, and Mara, Jewani, Panjgur and Turbat have been severely affected by the torrential rains that have been going on for a week in Balochistan.
As per the last updated report, 15 people lost their lives in the accidents and as per the PDMA report 40 houses were destroyed while 92 were partially damaged.
