Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali Khan's residence and condoled over the death of his wife.
According to a statement released by the media wing of the Prime Minister's Office, PM Sharif met Asfandyar's son, ANP provincial president Aimal Wali Khan, at their residence.

In the meeting, the prime minister recited Fateha for the deceased and prayed for the highest status in heaven for her. The PM also condoled with the family and prayed for patience for them.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Minister of State and Frontier Regions Ameer Muqam, former MNA Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MPA Akhtar Wali were also present on this occasion.

On March 11, the wife of Awami National Party (ANP) chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan, had passed away and was laid to rest in Charsadda.
The deceased was also the mother of provincial president of the ANP, Aimal Wali Khan. She was buried in Wali Bagh, Charsadda.
President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and other political leaders had offered condolences to the bereaved family.
