Talking to the media in Islamabad, he indicated that today would mark the decisive moment when the leader of the opposition would be chosen in the National Assembly. When asked by a journalist about his potential candidacy for the post, Barrister Gohar remained cryptic, stating that whoever becomes the opposition leader would be known by the end of the day.
Highlighting the significant financial implications of parliamentary sessions, the PTI chairman revealed that a staggering sum of Rs65 million was spent daily on the assembly proceedings, prompting scrutiny over the efficiency and productivity of the sessions.
To another question, he said only time would tell if the government would complete its tenure.
