The second-biggest Apple event, WWDC 2024, is a few months away, and like always, everyone is curious about what Cupertino based tech giant has to offer in the upcoming iOS 18. More importantly, which iPhones will be getting the latest update from Apple.
According to a fresh rumor initially posted by MacRumors, this year, Apple might delay software support for older iPhones, with all devices running on iOS 17 being upgraded to iOS 18.
According to this report, the following iPhone models are eligible for iOS 18:
- iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2022)
- iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2020)
- iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max

What does it mean for your iPhone?
The iOS 18 update won't necessarily guarantee that your iPhone will get all the latest features. Anyway, the oldest iPhone that might get the update is from 2018, and users weren't already expecting all the latest software capabilities.
