WhatsApp is working on a feature that will soon allow users to share their status updates on Instagram and Facebook.

According to WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is exploring new ways to allow "optional sharing" of status updates on Instagram and Facebook.
This means that users will have the option to choose whether they want to share their status updates on both platforms.
Once this feature is introduced, it will not only save users time, but also improve reliability and consistency by streamlining content sharing across WhatsApp and Instagram.
As seen in the screenshot above, the feature may not be limited to Instagram only but could also be applied to Facebook, allowing users to share their status updates on three different platforms simultaneously.
It is important to note that this feature will be optional, meaning that users will have the choice of whether to share their status updates across platforms.
Users will also remain in control of who sees their content by picking the audience settings for their Instagram stories.
WaBetaInfo highlighted multiple benefits of this feature, with the most notable being time-saving.
