A 51-year-old patient who was bitten by a dog died at Mayo Hospital Lahore, according to Samaa TV.
The patient was brought to the emergency department of Mayo Hospital yesterday in a critical condition, doctors said. The dog bite incident took place on July 17 in Pattoki Tehsil of Kasur.
Doctors said the patient had already received three doses of the anti-rabies vaccine. However, rabies immunoglobulin was not administered in the complicated case.
