The National Assembly session has been summoned for August 17 after the parliamentary schedule was revised because of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections.
According to sources, the session had earlier been scheduled for 7 August, but the timetable was changed due to the AJK elections.
Sources said the National Assembly will discuss national affairs during the sitting. Important legislation will also form part of the agenda.
